16 Days of Activism

Against Gender-Based Violence

25 November-10 December

What is the 16 Days of Activism?

25 November–10 December

Violence against women and girls is one of the most pervasive human rights violations - It knows no national or cultural barriers, it takes place at home, in the workplace and open spaces.

The 16 Days of Activism runs every year from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day). During these Days, communities around the world join the call to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls.

Why orange?
